I started mixing on Traktor using the M-AUDIO and not with much of a track selection on a an old breaking down Dell Laptop back from 2005 with a keyboard that is unresponsive unless you sat there and smashed each button like The Incredible Hulk, with regular Sony Walkman Headphones and I used a TV as a monitor.

Eventually I would be given a Numark Stealth to practice with by Sir-Drinks-Alot (now known as DJ H4RDNoX), who had switched to using CDJs. Also by that time I was given an old pair of Sony MDR-V700DJ to use...though better then using regular headphones, it had some setbacks the right only played bass and the left only plays highs but it was better then nothing. I would use this set up for awhile, until I realize that buttons are not working, and sound issues are becoming a huge problem with practicing.
